Lebadang Memory Space

I had the chance to visit Lebadang Memory Space in Hue. I actually found it by chance while browsing Google Maps. It was my first time learning about this French-Vietnamese artist, Lê Bá Đảng, and his incredible works.

My first impression of his art was how diverse, detailed, and creative it was. He often combined different mediums, techniques, and materials in a single piece. What stood out most to me was how smoothly he blended sculpture, painting, paper-cutting, and printmaking in collections like Spaces. I’m inspired by how he used various materials to add texture and depth to his work.

The more I explored his work, the more I connected with his vision of a deep bond between humanity, nature, and the universe. One collection that stayed with me is Zen. It shows the unity of the human mind and inner-space. It captures a sense of calm and stillness, even in a world that’s always moving.

There’s a small bronze sculpture in this Zen collection that really spoke to me. When I looked at it, I felt a deep stillness inside my lively body. I don’t have a photo to share, but it’s something you truly have to see in person at the museum.

Visiting the Lebadang Memory Space was a special and unexpected experience. I didn’t know anything about Lê Bá Đảng before, but his art really touched me. His work made me feel calm and inspired. I’m really glad I found this place by chance, and I hope more people get to discover his amazing art.
