This project was to redesign Seller information on Lazada’s Product Description Page (PDP) and Store Profile page. The new metrics we wanted to display for our end users were:
- Satisfaction rate: It is the overall satisfaction with the product quality and shop services (packaging, delivery, response to chat messages) that the end users received.
- Items sold: It is a store’s total number of products sold on Lazada.
- Time on Lazada: It is the time a store runs its business with Lazada.
Ideation
To make the information more interesting, I decided to have icons go together with the information. I wanted to use the metaphor of cityscape to illustrate the wealth and success of a store on Lazada.
- Satisfaction rate: I used emojis on a scale of 5 for Very Satisfied, Satisfied, Neutral, Unsatisfied, and Very Unsatisfied.
- Items sold: I used the metaphor of a shopping mall to illustrate the size of the seller’s business. Street Vendor for 500+ items sold, Small Store for 2,000+ items sold, and Shopping Mall for 5,000+ items sold.
- Time on Lazada: I used the metaphor of different stages of tree growth to illustrate the seller’s business with Lazada. Seed germination stage for 4+ weeks on Lazada, Sapling stage for 2+ years on Lazada, Mature tree stage for 5+ years on Lazada.
