Design Approach

My design process starts with understanding the problem through research, uncovering user needs and insights. From there, I move into ideation and prototyping to create solutions.

I'm also flexible and adjust my approach to meet the unique needs of each project or team.

This stage involves close collaboration with product managers, stakeholders and other cross-functional teams to define the scopes and goals of the product.

Key Activities:

  • Practice in planning new product and feature.

  • Align design goals with business and user needs.

  • Set clear product requirements and success metrics

This stage focuses on understanding the end-user through surveys, usability testing, and research to gather insights that guide design decisions.

Key Activities:

  • Conduct user research and usability sessions.

  • Analyze user behavior and feedback.

  • Translate findings into actionable design insights.

This stage is the ideation phase, where design challenges are addressed by connecting the dots between different user groups and their needs.

Key Activities:

  • Brainstorm and sketching design solutions.

  • Create wireframe, prototype and user flows.

  • Design to balance both function and looks to meet user needs.

This stage involves working closely with developers and product managers to refine the design solution. Collecting feedback ensures it aligns with technical constraints and business objectives.

Key Activities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Refine designs based on feedback.

  • Ensure the design aligns with development processes.

This focus is on maintaining design quality and user experience throughout the process, ensuring the product is not only functional but also user-friendly.

Key Activities:

  • Assist with the development and launch of the product.

  • Ensuring the design is consistent with development processes and can be effectively implemented.

  • Participate in final user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify that the product meets user requirements.

In addition to working on projects, I mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge to support their growth. My daily approach is centered around collaboration, continuous learning, and guiding the team to deliver high-quality work.

Key Activities:

  • Provide conductive and actionable feedback on design work.

  • Promote collaboration and building a creative, problem-solving culture.

  • Create a safe space where junior designers feel safe to try new approaches and learn from mistakes.

Design Toolkit

My toolkit is made up of versatile skills that help me craft design solutions and adjust to the unique needs of each project. I’m always working to refine and grow these skills, keeping them sharp and ready to tackle new challenges.

Conducting one-on-one interviews with users to understand their motivations, goals and challenges.

Key Activities:

  • Plan interview scripts based on research goals.

  • Actively listen and ask follow-up questions to dig deeper.

  • Synthesize insights to identify key themes and user needs.

Planning, conducting and analyzing usability tests to access how users interact with a product and identifying pain-points.

Key Activities:

  • Prepare scenarios and tasks that users will perform during the test.

  • Conduct the test, observe users as they complete tasks, take note on their actions, thoughts, and any challenges they face.

  • Review user behavior and feedback to identify patterns, issues, and areas for improvement.

Conducting A/B testing to compare two or more design variations and using data to clarify the results.

Key Activities:

  • Define hypotheses and design test variations (e.g different layouts, CTAs, contents,…)

  • Compare the data from each variant to determine which version performs better.

  • Use the findings to make informed decisions on product changes or improvements.

Creating Personas and User Journey Maps based on research to represent different user types and document their experiences, needs, and pain-points.

Key Activities:

  • Synthesize user data to create actionable personas.

  • Map out user flows and identify touch points in their journeys.

  • Use personas and journey maps to inform design decisions and ensure they align with user needs.

Designing and analyzing surveys to collect quantitative data from a group of users.

Key Activities:

  • Identify what to learn from the survey, such as user preferences, behaviors, or pain points.

  • Create clear, unbiased, and relevant questions that align with research goals.

  • Analyze survey results to identify trends, patterns, and insights that address research goals.

Quickly sketching ideas and creating wireframes for concept development.

Key Activities:

  • Understand the project goals, user needs, and functional requirements before starting the design

  • Sketch rough ideas for layouts, structures, and basic elements, focusing on content and user flow.

  • Share wireframes with team members, stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment with project goals.

Creating user flows and organizing information clearly to help users navigate products easily and intuitively.

Key Activities:

  • Create a visual map of the steps users will take to complete tasks or reach goals.

  • Group and arrange content logically to help users easily find what they need.

  • Test the user flow and information structure with users to identify any confusing parts, then improve based on feedback.

Creating interactive prototypes to simulate user flows and and test design concepts.

Key Activities:

  • Design low-fidelity prototypes for early-stage testing.

  • Create high-fidelity prototypes for realistic user interactions.

  • Use prototyping tools to communicate the ideas to stakeholders.

Designing appealing interface that are align with the brand’s identity.

Key Activities:

  • Define the visual style by creating a consistent look with colors, fonts, and design elements that match the brand and user needs.

  • Develop detailed, polished screens and interactive elements for a visually appealing and user-friendly experience.

  • Gather feedback and refine designs.

Creating and maintaining Design System that ensure consistency across product interfaces.

Key Activities:

  • Build reusable components and design patterns (buttons, input fields,…)

  • Manage and update design system to ensure consistency in new features.

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are scaleable and easy to implement.

I believe that strong teamwork is key to achieving shared goals and bring ideas to life.

Key Activities:

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to align design with technical and business goals.

  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and solve design challenges.

  • Share ideas, listen to feedback, and keep team members informed about design progress and decisions.

As an introvert, I rarely initiate conversations, but at work, I’m proactive in sharing ideas, rationales, and design concepts to ensure alignment with stakeholders.

Key Activities:

  • Explain design ideas, decisions, and reasons clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Present designs through wireframes, mockups, prototypes, or diagrams to visually communicate ideas and user flows.

  • Listen carefully to feedback from team members, stakeholders, or users, and use it to improve the design.

My goal is to approach each project with a solution-oriented mindset, focusing on balancing user experience with technical feasibility in my designs.

Key Activities:

  • Identify the problem by collecting data, analyzing feedback, and clearly defining the issue to address.

  • Explore multiple solutions by brainstorming different options and evaluating their practicality and effectiveness.

  • Refine designs based on feedback, making adjustments to ensure long-term effectiveness.

Since design projects often change due to shifting user needs, new constraints, or stakeholder feedback, I’m always ready to adapt quickly.

Key Activities:

  • Stay calm and focused in uncertain situations, finding solutions even when the path forward isn’t clear.

  • Quickly adjust when priorities shift, ensuring the design stays focused on the key goals.

  • Constantly learn new tools and techniques to remain flexible and adaptable.

I believe that before understanding users, connecting with colleagues and building empathy within my team is crucial for building trust, improving communication, and creating better user experiences. This soft skill focuses on strengthening relationships within my teams.

Key Actions:

  • Support colleagues when needed, whether by providing design clarity, answering questions, or collaborating on solutions.

  • I understand that each team member (like developers or product managers) has different insights and challenges, and I am always open to their ideas.
